Basic recipe for making your own loose-leaf tea: use from 1 tsp to 3 tsp (1 tbsp) per cup of water, depending on your need and taste.

For teas with leaves and flowers, add hot water to your herbs, cover and let sit to steep (infuse) for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.

For teas with barks, roots and berries, cover and simmer (decoct) the herbs in water for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.
